POS - how to get pos in the game!

so many of you know that each character starts with a base 2k (0~-2k)
once you have lost this, the only way to get this back is to kill an opposing race player.
What happens when a player with 70k POS quits the game?
What happens when a player spends 150k on 5th aura?
What happens when there just isnt any POS left?

On either Elundra or Shadows server that i made, i had implemented an EVT to give any mob a certain % chance to give a fixed amount of POS.
This would be set within the EVT code.

For example..

Kobold - 10% chance to give 1 pos
Raptor - 20% chance to give 2 pos
Warmess - 10% chance to give 10 pos

Do you guys think this would be a decent feature to impliment? personally i think it would be a nice grind, meaning that i could achieve my 5th aura without having to get lucky on high level kills in Wotw. It seemed to work well and i got alot of positive feedback on my pserver as far as i can remember. This would be especially nice considering that iSylver is looking at revamping the POS shop.

Sacred stone will create ~3x60x60 (10800) Excluding the time people are dead or not on stone, i would assume around 8-9k+ pos into the game every week, so pos will never run out really...

And pos gems? could be added to some mobs at a very low drop rate too i suppose...?

Ahh, have forgot about SS event, never been to it.
Maybe that will be sufficient enough then?

Wouldn't that just mean strongest player would get it, how dimension explain is there would bringer the higher cap of POS, meaning more.. it would encourage people to actually try RVR, as the loss/gain has been change it might encourage people with more pos.

Some changes to pos gains:
- Can only lose or gain 500 per kill now (on test, I'm assuming here we'll get the same on the real).
- SS event as previously mentioned (8-9k per week)
- Pos gem, on test it gives 50 per gem but this could be altered to any number we like, though the goal is to keep pos linked to PvP rather than PvE (conti could drop them)
- New possibilites like bosses at SS that gives pos to people in a radius (it should be possible with some work)
